The KRYPTON 321 DC TRI is a professional 320 A three-phase TIG power source with an IP23 protection rating, to withstand the most demanding operating conditions. Using cutting-edge technology, it delivers a perfectly stable arc and impeccable welding quality. It offers a very high duty cycle, making it ideal for use in engineering, piping and robotic applications.

2 WELDING PROCESSES

TIG DC

• DC Standard: smooth current welding on most ferrous materials.
• DC Pulse up to 2 kHz: controls the temperature of the weld pool, reduces deformation of the workpiece and enables the assembly of thin sheets, as thin as 0.3 mm.

MMA

• Standard MMA: coated, rutile, basic, and cellulosic electrodes (up to Ø 5 mm).
• MMA Pulse up to 500 Hz: facilitates welding in a vertical position (pipe/pipeline…).

OPTIMISED TIG SETTING

• 100% TIG duty cycle: 260 A
• 4 spot modes :
  – Spot / Multi Spot : traditional tacking before welding thin workpieces.
  – Tack / Multi Tack : ultra-precise, oxidation-free tacking to reduce the risk of deformation.
• 3 types of ignition: Lift, HF and Touch.HF (timed high-frequency ignition).
• 3 trigger controls: 2T, 4T and 4T LOG.
• Pulse TIG waveform settings for greater arc control and improved penetration.
• E-Weld mode ensures that the welding power is constant, regardless of the position of the torch in relation to the workpiece (control of welding energy)

• Calibration mode for welding accessories (refines energy calculation).
• Can be connected to a robot via an optional kit (037960).
• Stores up to 50 programs per process for recurring applications.

• VRD can be activated to reduce output open circuit voltage to < 35 V.
